FELICITAS TEMPORVM - The emperor, in the toga, seated in a curule chair, and holding a globe, Victory from behind placing alaurel crown on his head. On the opposite side are two female figures draped and standing; one of them holds the hasta pura.

Obv. IMP SEV AXLEXAND AVG IVLIA MAMAEA AVG MATER AVG. Busts face to face of Severus Alexander and of his mother Julia Mamaea. Gold medallion. Engraved in Mionnet, |i| 369. [A beautiful work of art, but in which Severus Alexander looks more like and empress than an emperor]

There is a second brass of the same reign, having the reverse type above secribed, but with the heas of |Alexander| alone on the obverse.
